    An elegantly restored 1899 Queen Anne Victorian Country Inn on the National Register of Historic Places, awaits you. Reserve a room, browse in our gift shop or join us at meal time.

    Visit one of the highest rated Country Inns in Northwest Iowa, and gateway to the Loess Hills. Experience a trip back in time when the pace was slower and the warmth and hospitality more gracious and abundant.

    Overnight guests have their choice of four spacious rooms on the second floor, each with a private bathroom. Period antiques and original brass light fixtures adorn each room.

     A large terry cloth bathrobe is provided for each guest. All rooms have central air and heat.

    The Gold Room was Doctor Warnock's master bedroom and is highlighted by a massive, hand-carved antique walnut bed, original antiques and Queen Anne bay.

    The Rose Room features a brass queen bed and brass day bed, large north, east, and south facing windows, period antiques and sycamore woodwork.

    The Teal Room has a full size antique walnut bed and furnishings with south and east facing windows overlooking the large mulberry tree.

    The Blue Room has a king bed, a cozy, corner bath, south and west facing windows, and turn-of-the-century antiques including a marble top dresser.

    Guests enjoy the quiet pace of The Inn. The Porch at The Inn at Battle CreekThe large wrap-around porch is perfect for reading, napping or just sitting and watching the world go by!

    Two private dining rooms are located just off the veranda on the first floor. From the hushed entrance with sweeping, open oak staircase to the Queen Anne bay, you'll be surrounded by pristine woodwork and period antique furnishings.

    Wooden tables and chairs, fine china and candlelight all add to the gracious ambiance of your dining experience. Dinner selections usually include steak, seafood and chicken. Dining reservations are required.
